1. The Sauna Hub

Website: thesaunahub.com.au/services/saunas-sydney/
Address: 20 Howard Ave, Dee Why
Contact: (02) 9168 8081 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday, Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Tuesday, 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Wednesday, 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM | Thursday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM | Saturday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Sunday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
The Sauna Hub stands out by offering premium infrared facilities at some of the lowest membership rates in the area. Each private room features top-tier saunas equipped with chromotherapy lighting to maximise your health and relaxation benefits.
You also get a massive 55-inch television built right into your personal cabin to stream shows while you sweat. If you plan to be a member, you’ll receive a personal key for flexible access from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, which is a massive perk for busy schedules.
Our team actually visited this spot last month, and the fully stocked private showers with complimentary moisturisers made refreshing afterwards incredibly easy.
However, casual visitors without a membership face very early weekend closures, shutting down at 3:00 PM on Saturdays. This narrow window makes it tough to fit in a late-afternoon weekend sweat unless you have a specialised VIP pass.

Five Stars
All good. Use the tv remote to adjust the volume of the music. Take it in the sauna with you. Next time I’m having the cold dip afterwards. Shower ok but not cold enough. Five Stars 👍🏽
2nd visit even better with ice bath👍🏼👍🏼 …

The sauna was well maintained
I had a great experience with my partner after booking an ice bath and sauna room. The entire space felt incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. The sauna was well maintained with just the right level of heat, and the ice bath was perfectly chilled.

This venue goes beyond basic heat therapy by offering advanced pressurised hyperbaric chambers to speed up tissue healing. They also integrate dynamic air compression boots to flush out fluid and quickly reduce post-exercise tightness.
On the downside, joining a standard weekly plan requires a mandatory four-week upfront commitment before you can adjust your membership.
Additionally, you’ll have to pay a separate surcharge for fresh towels unless you upgrade to their most expensive membership tier.

Make this make sense; Amazing facility! Went with the whole football team which the facility was able to accommodate all our needs such as compression boots, the cold plunge, community sauna and the massage guns! My body felt lighter and more energised after our sauna, cold plunge, and Normatec boots
My husband and I visited the Martin Place venue. It was clean, inviting. Paris, the staff member on duty, took her time to walk us through the services, the equipment, and the areas to ensure our experience was as it was supposed to be… RELAXING! My body felt lighter and more energised after our sauna, cold plunge, and Normatec boots. I highly recommend Kimon and the Team at Martin Place RCVRI xx. I cannot wait to try the hyperbaric chamber therapy!

3. 38° The Bathhouse

Website: 38thebathhouse.com
Address: B1/180 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach
Contact: 0447 368 707 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM (Silent Sessions) | Monday-Thursday, from 9:00 AM onwards (Midweek Bathhouse) | Friday-Sunday, all times (Weekend Community Bathhouse)
38° The Bathhouse is a landmark venue that brings a fresh communal wellness ritual directly to the local coastal scene. Here, you can book private infrared suites equipped with digital entertainment before flowing into the magnesium pools and cold plunges.
This seamless hybrid layout delivers targeted light-based heat right alongside social contrast therapy.
A friend of mine goes here regularly and absolutely loves the immersive poolside sound healing sessions they run during select weekly slots.
If you want a comprehensive approach to your health, this venue easily rivals Sydney’s best holistic wellness clinics.
Plus, the strictly enforced digital detox in communal areas also guarantees a genuinely quiet escape.
But keep in mind that standard shower towels aren’t included for drying off, so you’ll need to bring your own or pay a hire fee.
To add, the facility has only one treatment room, so simultaneous couples massages aren’t possible.

The staff very friendly too
I just tried 38° The Bathouse last night for the first time. It was an incredible experience. The place is stunning and it was so quiet and peaceful. The staff very friendly too. I spent 1.5 hours, trying every single bath, sauna and steam room. It was the perfect way to unwind after a big week at work. I will definitely go back.

4. Blue Mountains Sauna

Website: bmsauna.com.au
Address: 7 Quinns Avenue, Leur
Contact: +61 438 287 252 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday, Wednesday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Tuesday, Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Blue Mountains Sauna offers Australia’s first dedicated European-style public sauna built strictly around authentic Nordic heat and ventilation standards.
Their massive wood-fired Savusauna provides a breathable, soft heat that completely sets them apart from typical electric hot boxes. They also run traditional German Aufguss towel-and-steam rituals daily, with no extra booking fees.
Every visit gives you two full hours to complete multiple rounds of their structured hot and cold contrast cycles. Best of all, they provide complimentary herbal tea, hydration salts, and clean bench towels for every single guest.
One major drawback is that the signature wood-fired stove takes five hours to heat up and doesn’t open until 11:00 AM.

Such a great vibe, amazing staff and community
Love this place! Such a great vibe, amazing staff and community… and the aufguss sessions are such a bonus! I’m now a self-confessed sauna addict and seek them out wherever I am and this is hands down the best experience. Thanks for bringing sauna culture to the Blue Mountains!!

The entire experience is very high-end
Staff were the perfect balance of enthusiastic, but relaxed- crucial for calming my nerves of trying sauna for the very first time!
The entire experience is very high-end, but the pricing is so reasonable for what’s included.
Now that two saunas operate within the complex, it was nice to swap between each to diversify my experience- made time really fly!
For any newcomers, you don’t need to have a 2L bottle/container for all your water- as you can refill a smaller bottle with fresh water as often as you like- it’s far more accessible than I expected!

Address: 50 Oxford Street, Paddington
Contact: 0400 329 902 | [email protected]

Their advanced far-infrared heaters warm your body gently from the inside out, keeping the air much more comfortable.
You can easily book a dedicated contrast therapy room that pairs this soothing heat directly with an invigorating ice bath.
The studio also supplies all necessary grooming essentials, including plush robes and body wash, for a seamless visit.
Unfortunately, they enforce a strict 24-hour cancellation penalty that charges you the full price if your schedule changes unexpectedly.
Additionally, you have to prepay your entire reservation upfront online, which removes the flexibility of settling your bill in person.

Will definitely be back next time I’m in town
Fantastic experience at True Float. Booked a private infrared sauna session and it was exactly what I needed, spotless room, great setup with the sauna, shower and cold plunge all to yourself, and a genuinely relaxing, calming space. Perfect reset after days of walking around Sydney. A special mention to Breeze, who was absolutely lovely welcoming, friendly, and made sure I was comfortable and knew how everything worked. That kind of warm, personal service makes all the difference. Highly recommend, will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Highly recommend a visit here to improve your health
Byron, the owner, is very knowledgeable in the area of wellness, and is very accommodating, and can provide parking to patrons on request.
The combination of the fire and Ice (sauna and cold plunge) followed by isolation tank and red light therapy is a game changer, when it comes to feeling energised, while at the same time feeling relaxed and ready to start the Day/Week.
Highly recommend a visit here to improve your health.
