The 5 Best Jewellery Shops in Gold Coast for Fine and Bespoke Pieces

Design Flexibility: I checked how well each boutique accommodates custom sketches and different diamond choices. Flexible jewellers help shoppers create personal pieces without rigid design limits.

Stone Transparency: I looked at the stone information and precious metals each store offers. Independent grading reports give shoppers clearer, more trustworthy information about the stone they are considering.

Consultation Pressure: I checked the pressure level and transparency during initial design meetings. Welcoming jewellers listen to your budget instead of pushing expensive upgrades.

Aftercare and Repairs: I checked each store's repair arrangements, warranty terms, and maintenance packages. Accessible cleaning and resizing services help you easily care for favourite pieces after the purchase.

Last year, I helped a close friend plan a surprise beach proposal. We had a talented event planner and great photographers locked in, but finding the actual ring turned into pure panic.

Commercial storefronts pushed generic settings and confusing diamond specs with zero personal charm. That high-stakes search inspired a deep dive into genuine local talent.

I contacted independent studios, visited coastal showrooms directly, and talked to local couples about their rings to find the best jewellery shops in Gold Coast. Below is my guide to craftspeople who make a proposal unforgettable.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:30 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM; Sunday, Closed

My Jewellery Shop is a solid choice if you want plenty of control over a custom jewellery design. Its Fully Bespoke tier includes 3D CAD renders and unlimited design revisions before manufacturing starts.

The team also guides you through natural and lab-grown diamond options to suit your budget.

I booked a design chat here last winter to remodel my grandmother’s sapphire ring. The designer walked me through several creative settings without rushing my decision.

I also like that you can request a complimentary plastic ring sizer by post before visiting.

The main thing to plan for is the turnaround time. Custom pieces generally take four to six weeks to build. So if you’re planning a birthday surprise, it’s worth allowing plenty of time.

Pros

  • Unlimited design revisions within the Fully Bespoke tier
  •
  • Natural and lab-grown diamond options
  • Heirloom remodelling can preserve existing gemstones

Cons

  •
  • Closed on Sundays

Exceptional service and stunning jewellery

I had such a wonderful experience at My Jewellery Shop. The staff were absolutely amazing, nothing I asked for was ever too much trouble. They were incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout the whole experience. The jewellery itself is exquisite; the quality, detail, and selection really stood out, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for something special.

H&S Jewellers is a convenient choice when you need jewellery repairs without a long wait. They offer on-site services such as ring resizing, gold soldering, rhodium plating, and delicate pearl restringing.

I also like the mix of products in the shop. You’ll find fine diamond rings alongside contemporary gift brands such as Pandora and Ellani.

If you have an old piece you want to refresh, the team can also reuse your existing gold and stones for a new design.

The Surfers Paradise location is another plus for me. It’s open seven days a week, which makes weekend browsing easy.

Just be aware of the return policy for eligible online change-of-mind purchases. These receive an exchange or store credit rather than a cash refund within 30 days and subject to conditions.

Pros

  • On-site jewellery repairs and pearl restringing
  • Existing gold and stones can be reused in remodelling
  •
  • Open seven days a week in Surfers Paradise

Cons

  • Eligible online change-of-mind returns receive exchange or store credit, not a cash refund

Communication is second to none, super fast delivery

Ordered my Seiko watch late afternoon last Thursday and had all the paperwork, instructions, and warranty the same day. By Monday morning, I had the watch on my wrist. Before ordering, I called the shop, spoke to a real person, and got all the info I needed. In less than 10 minutes, the order was complete. Communication is second to none, super fast delivery, and the item is perfect.

It made my week

These are my favourite earrings, and I’d lost them while in hospital. Once I got home, I searched for them online since our local jewellers didn’t have them in stock anymore. H&S had them, and they were on sale. It’s been a rough recovery, but I received my earrings and a lovely note along with them, and it made my week.

Hours: Monday-Saturday, 10:00 AM-4:00 PM; Sunday, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM

What stands out to me about Ordekian Jewellery is the personal approach to custom designs. You work directly with master jeweller Mihran Ordekian, and every piece is entirely handmade locally.

You can start with something as simple as a sketch, a phone photo, or just a conversation about what you want.

The initial consultations are complimentary, which is another nice touch. Custom pieces also come with a valuation certificate.

Diamonds above 0.30 carats are certified by the Gemological Institute of America. Repairs, restoration, and remodelling are available too.

The only thing I’d keep in mind is that dropping in doesn’t guarantee Mihran will be available. I’d call ahead before visiting if you want a consultation with him.

Pros

  • Direct collaboration with master jeweller Mihran Ordekian
  • Complimentary initial design consultations
  • Valuation included with custom pieces
  • GIA certification specified for diamonds above 0.30 carats

Cons

  • Calling ahead is recommended to ensure Mihran is available

Each piece feels truly unique and handmade with such care and precision

The attention to detail is absolutely incredible, and each piece feels truly unique and handmade with such care and precision. From the initial design consultation to the final product, he was professional, patient, and passionate about delivering exactly what we envisioned. His craftsmanship is top notch, and it’s clear he pours genuine love and skill into his work. We’ll definitely be returning for all our future jewellery needs!

Genuinely cares about their craft

The quality of his work is excellent. He’s repaired multiple pieces for me now, including delicate items like pearl earrings where the posts had come out, and everything has come back perfect. What really stands out is his honesty and generosity. On one occasion, he didn’t even charge me for a small repair because it was quick and simple for him to do. That kind of service is rare.

Hardy Brothers Gold Coast might be right up your alley if you’re looking for fine jewellery and luxury timepieces in an elegant setting.

The Pacific Fair boutique combines statement jewellery and watches with access to the company’s workshop services.

I like that bespoke commissions follow a structured process. You can discuss your budget and timeline before the metalwork begins.

I also chatted with a bride who bought her wedding band here, and she particularly liked the late-night Thursday shopping hours.

The optional five- and ten-year care plans are another useful feature. They cover services such as polishing, claw re-tipping, and gemstone tightening. These are subject to eligibility and annual inspections.

The main drawback is the wait for custom work. Bespoke commissions usually take six to eight weeks after approval.

Pros

  • Boutique combines fine jewellery and specialist watches
  •
  • Optional five- and ten-year care plans
  • Thursday shopping until 9:00 PM

Cons

  • Six to eight weeks for bespoke pieces
  • Paid care plans require annual inspections and have exclusions

Every detail was handled with such care and professionalism

I just wanted to say how amazing Hardy Brothers were throughout the entire process of creating my ring. From start to finish, the customer service was exceptional, and every detail was handled with such care and professionalism. The team made the experience feel so personal and special, and I am forever grateful for their kindness, patience, and craftsmanship. I absolutely love my ring and could not recommend them highly enough.

The quality and craftsmanship are stunning

I had a lovely experience at Hardy Brothers. I recently purchased a beautiful emerald ring, and I’m so happy with it. The quality and craftsmanship are stunning. A special thank you to Shweta Mala for her wonderful service. She was kind and patient, helped me choose the perfect ring, and assisted with resizing, which made the whole process smooth and easy.

5. Just B Jewellery

Website: https://justbjewellery.com.au/

Address: Shop 5, 14-16 Tedder Avenue, Main Beach

Contact: (07) 5563 0113 | [email protected]

Hours: Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM; Monday and Sunday, Closed

Just B Jewellery made my list for its intimate atmosphere and personal approach to styling. It’s a relaxed option if you’re looking for custom jewellery in a village-style setting.

Their in-house process includes sketches or CAD renders before you approve the final design, stone selection, quotation, and timeframe.

There’s also a good choice between natural and lab-grown diamonds. That makes it easier to consider different preferences and budgets when designing a piece.

Another detail I like is the lifetime warranty on bespoke jewellery. You do need to have the jewellery inspected every six months to keep the warranty valid, though.

The main drawback is the production time. Custom pieces take between three and seven weeks to manufacture, so I wouldn’t rely on this option for a last-minute gift.

Pros

  • Design, stone, quotation, and timeframe approved before manufacture
  • Natural and lab-grown diamond options
  •
  • Bespoke lifetime warranty subject to six-monthly inspections

Cons

  •
  • Closed on Mondays and Sundays

He understood what I was after and made it happen quicker than I expected

He understood what I was after and made it happen quicker than I expected. He was super accommodating when I wanted to go with a bigger ruby in my engagement ring for my now-fiance. This was no issue for Ben, and again, it was a quick turnaround. His confidence reassured me, and he delivered a ring that my fiance and I are stoked about. Fair value too, considering what I was quoted by other jewellers.

Honest, high quality and reliable service

Ben has now made 2 custom rings for me. I haven’t come across a jeweller with such honest, high-quality, and reliable service. Ben is knowledgeable when sourcing stones and designing jewellery, and he charges a fair price for his work, unlike many other jewellers I’ve come across. I would highly recommend Ben and his store.
