Address: Suite 24, 838 Old Princes Highway, Sutherland

Contact: 02 9521 7556

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Planning a busy family renovation or a bustling cafe fitout often calls for flexible support instead of a rigid contract. Outline Interiors and Designer tailors their service to your needs, from occasional styling advice to full concept management.

Their team focuses on practical spaces that can handle everyday wear.

We like how they adapt their interior design approach to suit both cosy homes and busy retail shops. They can also guide your colour choices or oversee the entire build from scratch, depending on what you need.

They even work on commercial venues and review builder quotes to help you get fair pricing.

One drawback is that their staff splits time between two office locations, which can sometimes spread them thin.

Still, their flexible interior design services can make planning a major renovation much simpler.

Pros

  • Flexible service levels from consulting to full builds
  • Independent assessments of third-party builder quotes
  • Comprehensive commercial and hospitality fitout experience
  • Customised joinery and internal layout concepts

Cons

  • Staff split across two office locations

A pleasure to work with

We recently worked with Verity from Outline Interiors and found her and her teams assistance invaluable throughout our project. Verity provided thoughtful input on drawings and overall design. Her help in engaging the builder and managing the site was also much appreciated. Verity was consistently accessible and approachable, making the process smoother and more enjoyable. Her professionalism and easygoing nature made her a pleasure to work with.

Highly recommend

Verity came to our home recently for a consultation. She was super lovely & helpful, giving us various design ideas for our renovation while trying to keep within our budget. Really appreciate Verity’s kind, understanding & supportive approach. Would highly recommend Verity!

Very professional

Toni helped us completely re-design the floor plan of our house. She was a delight to deal with. She was very professional and her input dramatically improved/modernised our house. We couldn’t be happier with her recommendations and the results. We would definitely recommend Toni to anyone looking for a pleasant, easy and efficient experience with outstanding results.

The interior decorating is second to none

My husband and I used Toni from Karanda Interiors to assist us in decorating our new home many years ago. The interior decorating is second to none and has lasted over 10 years and has not dated.

Recently our son bought a new very small unit to move into and we contacted Toni.

What we thought was a tiny space for the newly weds was transformed by Toni into a balanced, functional design with a touch of luxury and creative appeal.

Toni is at the forefront in what she does …we would not use any one else !

Thank you Toni.

Address: 7 Stella Vista Pl, Greenwich

Contact: (02) 9439 9443

Hours: Monday-Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Thursday, 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Saturday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Renovating an older Sydney property often means tackling major structural updates while refreshing the interior.

Founder Martina Hayes has previous real estate experience and combines licensed building design with interior design. This gives clients a convenient one-stop service for wall removals and council approvals.

The studio handles everything from drafting plans to securing permits such as a Complying Development Certificate (CDC), so there’s no need to hire outside contractors.

You can even manage colour schemes, custom joinery, and structural changes under one roof.

But because she keeps the team relatively small, it’s smart to book your project before the busy building seasons.

Pros

  • Expert in building design and interior styling
  • In-house council application and CDC documentation
  • Strategic property value insight from real estate background
  • Late evening consultation hours available

Cons

  • Small core team; limited availability

Very happy

We have been very happy with Martina’s design of our bathroom.   She’s professional and efficient.  During the renovation phase she was also available and happy to talk through her design and any questions we had about it.

Thoroughly professional

We decided to renovate the bathroom in our 100-year-old home and respect its beautiful Art Deco and Arts and Crafts features while adding a modern feel. We knew we needed a design professional to help us achieve this sensitive balance. Thankfully we found Martina Hayes and look what we achieved. Martina is thoroughly professional and her contacts in the industry are all outstanding. We are happy to recommend Martina and her amazing team.

Pushing past standard showroom looks is where Woods & Warner really shines for local property owners who want something different.

Founded in 2006 by directors Jacinta Woods and Sonia Warner, this boutique practice creates bold interiors that have appeared in leading national shelter magazines.

They also provide full architectural drafting packages, along with detailed furniture, fittings, and equipment (FF&E) sourcing.

A close colleague hired them for an extensive terrace update and said their bold colour pairing completely transformed the home. That same collaborative approach helps make each interior feel personal rather than generic.

But remember, weekend consultations are strictly by appointment, which can make casual weekend visits tricky.

Pros

  • Bold and creative interior designs
  • Full architectural drafting packages
  • Detailed FF&E sourcing services
  • Highly collaborative design process

Cons

  • Weekend consultations require appointments

Responsive and respectful of our budget

Jacinta, Sonia and team have been a dream to work with in decorating and furnishing our new home.  They had a keen eye for detail and delivered on ideas that were aesthetically pleasing, coherent and personal. We especially valued their willingness to quickly correct things that looked great in the design phase but didn’t quite work as well in the room.  They were responsive and respectful of our budget.

We would recommend Woods and Warner for any interior decorating project.

Wholeheartedly recommend

We were the contracted builder for one of Woods and Warners projects in Bondi. From the very beginning, Jacinta and the entire team at Woods and Warner displayed professionalism, expertise, and a genuine passion for their craft. Their creativity, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to delivering excellence make them a standout interior design firm. We wholeheartedly recommend Jacinta and the team at Woods and Warner to anyone seeking a remarkable renovation experience.

Highly recommend

I was initially fairly hesitant about using a designer, but our first meeting with Emily went really well, and we immediately liked her and her ideas. We did go with everything she recommended, sometimes unsure, but we went along, and we are thankful we did – coz the place turned out so much nicer than we’d expected!

Pictures say a thousand words, so you’ll see a few of before and after pics. I’d highliy recommend her!

Very pleasant and professional to work with

Emily created the draft for our kitchen renovation. She really listened to our needs, whilst still providing useful inputs based on many years of experience working with clients on residential projects. The final draft of our kitchen was functional and beautiful at the same time. Emily was very pleasant and professional to work with. We would highly recommend her!
