Address: Dandenong, VIC 3175

Contact: 0434 629 954 | [email protected]

Hours: Available 24/7

Saying goodbye is hard enough without worrying about whether the ashes you receive actually belong to your companion.

Celestials Pet Cremation really puts those fears to rest with an online eight-touchpoint tracking system, letting you monitor your pet’s journey in real time using a unique identification tag.

Plus, the owner handles the collection and transportation personally, so your pet is never handed over to outside couriers.

For the cremation process, they use an automated, pyrolysis-powered system that runs smokeless and odourless, making the process much kinder to the environment.

When my neighbor used their service after her cat passed, she felt a profound sense of relief knowing the care was so personal.

While their private service is thorough, it does mean the timeline can stretch out, taking five to seven business days before the ashes are returned. Even so, the peace of mind they offer through their rigorous verification process makes the wait worthwhile.

Pros

  • Four-layer verification process with real-time tracking
  • Seven-day and after-hours collection availability
  • Environmentally responsible and odourless cremation technology
  • Personally managed collection and transportation

Cons

  • Private cremation takes five to seven business days

Compassionate Care and a Meaningful Final Goodbye

Christiaan and the team at Celestials took great care with Leon, with a lot of compassion and care starting from the first call to picking him up and drop off.  I appreciate how they even kept him for an extra day tucked in his blanket with his treats, so my brother who was interstate at the time of Leon’s passing could visit Leon and say his goodbye. Thank you to Celestials for making this difficult time just a bit easier.

Clear Guidance Through a Difficult First Experience

Celestials was so incredible to deal with in such a hard time. I had never had a pet cremated before, and the whole team was very communicative and helpful throughout the whole process. I am so glad I trusted them with my girl Charli and will use them again in the future (hopefully not soon) for my dog.

Finding a gentle way to preserve the memory of a furry friend brings a lot of comfort to grieving families.

Peninsula Pet Cremations understands this deeply, offering complimentary memorial keepsakes like an ink paw print and a sweet little lock of fur before the cremation takes place.

They strictly provide individual cremations and assign a secure identification tag to each pet, giving you confidence that you’re receiving the right ashes.

On top of that, their standard service includes an engraved brass nameplate, and they even offer free collection and return for participating veterinary clinics.

You do need to plan ahead if you want to say a final goodbye in person, as viewing appointments have limited availability and must be scheduled in advance.

Also, same-day cremation is sometimes possible, but you’ll have to check with them directly since it’s subject to their current schedule.

Pros

  • Guaranteed individual pet cremations
  • Secure identification tag process
  • Complimentary ink paw print and fur lock
  • Free collection for participating veterinary clinics

Cons

  • Final viewing appointments have limited availability
  • Same-day cremation isn’t guaranteed

Thoughtful Communication and a Timely Return

The team at Peninsula Pet Cremation was amazing to work with. Knowing that the holiday season would be busy, we didn’t think we would get Shadows ashes back until the new year. They made sure we had her back before 2026 and the constant communication throughout the process was amazing. We got to choose from what urn we wanted and they had the option of complementary paw print and her fur was something we were very grateful for. We 100% recommend Peninsula Pet Cremation, they are amazing and so heart felt in a time that is so hard for everyone.

After-Hours Support When It Mattered Most

Thank you Jen and the staff at Peninsula Pet Cremations.  When my bulldog Billy suddenly passed I didn’t know what to do. Jen was wonderful over the phone and did her best to calm me down and give me some guidance. They stayed open after hours so I could get my dog to them and my wife could get there after work so she could say goodbye. With adorable Cremation packages and a final goodbye viewing I highly recommend Peninsula Pet Cremations .

Navigating end-of-life care for a companion is confusing, especially when you’re dealing with a heavy heart.

Paws and Reflect Pet Funeral Service acts as an independent advisor, providing professional guidance to help you figure out the next steps without actually operating their own cremation facility.

I actually called them once to ask about options for an elderly dog, and their advice was incredibly grounded and reassuring.

They can help you arrange highly personalised farewell ceremonies right in your home, complete with beautiful flowers and a heartfelt eulogy. They also coordinate quick turnarounds, typically getting ashes back to you in just two to four days.

But because they use an external facility for the actual cremation, your pet will have to travel roughly two and a half hours round trip. You’ll also need to buy your own decorative urn elsewhere, as they only provide a simple scatter tin.

Pros

  • Fast two-to-four-day return of ashes
  • Individual cremation process assurance
  • Highly personalised home farewell ceremonies
  • Regular updates during collection and transport

Cons

  • Uses an external cremation facility
  • Ashes are returned in a basic scatter tin

Caring, Responsive Support During a Painful Loss

Caroline was wonderfully caring and sympathetic to our terrible loss, acted with pace and kept in communication with us during the time she arranged cremation of our beloved boy. Thank you. Caroline, for making an awful ordeal easier on us x

Personal Care That Felt Like Family

Caroline was incredibly kind and professional during a rough time, we are so happy to have come across her service. We absolutely recommend Paws and Reflect to the highest degree, especially over the alternatives of very commercialised services. Caroline felt like a friend that loved our Griffin as much as we did ❤️

4. Elysium Fields Pet Cremations

elysium-fields-pet-cremations

Website: https://www.elysiumfieldspetcremations.com.au/

Address: 13 Trinity Way, Pakenham Victoria, 3810

Contact: [email protected] | 0448 899 604

Hours: Mon to Sun 8 am – 6 pm

Trusting someone else with your beloved animal requires absolute certainty about how they’ll be handled.

Elysium Fields Pet Cremations guarantees that every service is performed individually in an Environment Protection Authority (EPA) approved unit that meets strict Australian standards.

This small operation offers consistent care, with the owner, Julie, personally managing the cremation and the safe return of the ashes. They also handle a wide variety of animals, from typical cats and dogs to small pocket pets.

The whole process is quite efficient, and ashes are usually returned to your family within seven days.

But since this is a very small team focused on personal care, they might not have the capacity of larger providers if you need immediate, flexible scheduling.

And if you want to be present during the process, you have to book an appointment, as walk-in attendances are simply not accommodated.

Pros

  • Guaranteed individual cremations in EPA-approved units
  • Consistent single-person care by the owner
  • Accepts birds, reptiles, and small animals
  • Reliable seven-day return of ashes

Cons

  • Small team model limits scheduling flexibility
  • Attendance requires scheduling an appointment
